Moderators have read only access to the data for the purposes of checking registered callsigns when 'trusting in' new stations on the Network Radios Suite of Channels and checking availability of NR callsign numbers when handling new registration requests. The stored data can only be modified or edited by the Data Controller or NR channel suite Administrator with Write access to the database. When registering an NR callsign You will be required to provide Your Operator Name and a Rough Location.ĭetails given during registration will be added to a private database that is only available to the Data Controller, Moderators of the Network Radios Suite of Channels and the NR channel suite owner. The moderator can check availability of specific NR callsign numbers in the database and arrange registration for You. You can contact a moderator on the Network Radios facebook group. Licensed Radio Amateurs can use their officially licensed amateur radio callsign on the channels and use their registered NRnumber as a 'club member number' Unlicensed radio enthusiasts can use their registered NR callsign on the Network Radios channels. : NR callsigns are registered on a One per Person basis. 'November Romeo' / 'Network Radios' NR callsigns are entirely Optional. In short, Play nice or play somewhere else. Users with Offensive user names, profiles or images will be blocked.Īnyone swearing, being abusive to other users, using offensive images, deliberately disrupting other stations, attempting to spread false information, promoting illegal activity or operating in breach of the Zello Terms Of Service and/or Community Guidelines will be removed.Ĭross Linking with other channels or platforms is Not allowed.Īttempting to connect any form of 'Gateway' or 'Repeater' to this suite of channels is Prohibited. Operators on these channels must be 'Family Friendly' at all times. ( Think of it like calling CQ on a Clear frequency ) The Network Radios suite of channels DO NOT have a designated 'calling channel' There are 7 'standard' channels and You can call on any clear channel, Please be sensible and call CQ on any channel that is not already in use. * All users MUST operate within the Zello Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. * Offensive user names, profiles or images are Not allowed. * It is good practice to give Mobile stations priority. * Use the Echo service in Your Contacts to test/set up Your audio. The Network Radios suite of Channels are:- Flexible, Simple, Friendly & Safe. These were setup by a few people who were removed from the Network Radios channels for misconduct and have nothing to do with the official Network Radios channel suite.
You will also find some other channels that refer to themselves as 'breakaway' channels. The fake/fraudulent channels that pretend to be part of the NR channel suite are doing so in direct violation of the Zello Terms Of Service.Īlways check channel owner is G1YPQ to be sure You have the Official NR channels. The fake NR channels were set up by a user that was blocked from the official channel suite for misconduct, breaking Zello ToS, community guidelines and channel rules.
